Looks like former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel might eventually be heading to court over her Skinnygirl Cocktail brand.RELATED: ’Bethenny’ struggles to find its footing, despite strong start
According to the New York Post, Bethenny will be deposed about her Skinnygirl margarita line, which is now facing a class action lawsuit over allegations that the beverages were premixed with “rot-gut tequila” rather than the “100 percent blue agave” ingredients which the label champions.
It’s in the early stages, but since the judge has now decided Bethenny’s testimony is relevant to the case, despite her camp’s protests, she’ll now be closely involved in the matter, starting with this deposition. So, if the matter does go to court, there’s a good chance Bethenny could be right there in the thick of it!
Yikes. Looks like Bethenny, who’s just begun her own talk show, may very well be in some hot water over these cold beverages!
