Danielle Staub Files For Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Guess that that $18-a-minute to talk to Danielle Staub idea didn't work. Next stop, porn? I mean it's not like she doesn't have experience in the area:
Former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Danielle Staub, who bragged on the Bravo show that she was one of the first women in New Jersey to have a Black American Express card, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, listing 35 creditors, including American Express.

The bankruptcy petition, filed in United States Bankruptcy Court in Newark on May 30, estimates Staub’s assets to be between $500,001 and $1 million - the same estimate given for her liabilities. It lists a current address in North Bergen.

Neither Staub’s attorney, Zakaria Aljaludi of Union City, nor her California-based manager returned a call for comment.

Among the creditors listed on the bankruptcy petition are the Internal Revenue Service, the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation, PSE&G and nine law firms, including Damico Del Sardo & Montanari LLC. In 2009, Darren Del Sardo represented Staub when she went to court to stop an ex-boyfriend from releasing secret sex tapes (the lawsuit was eventually dropped) and when Staub signed a complaint against cast mates following a fight at the North Jersey Country Club. On Tuesday, the law firm declined to comment on the bankruptcy filing.

The Township of Wayne, where Staub lived when she appeared on “Housewives,” is also listed as a creditor. At press time, the town clerk’s office was checking to see if there is any documentation that would relate to the bankruptcy.

In addition to that, I remembered reading another article about bankruptcy that states that Chapter 7: basic liquidation for individuals and businesses; also known as straight bankruptcy; it is the simplest and quickest form of bankruptcy available.
